Every item description in our shop lists a “Crafting Time” for that specific design. This is the time it takes for your order to be prepared for shipment.
Designs with custom text take three weeks to be handmade for you in the studio-this is noted on the item page.
Note that “Crafting Time” does not include shipping to your location. Please read through our shipping information for details about transit times.

If you have your heart set on a custom design and your event is coming up soon, rush orders are available, when our production schedule permits. Rush fees start at $38 and up depending on the style and delivery date requested. Please contact us for details and availability. Please note that a Rush Order is for the expedited production of your order. This is not the same as adding Express delivery to your order.
Our non-custom designs (items that are in stock at the time of your order, ready to ship within the time stated on the item’s description page) are always eligible for a shipping upgrade to Express delivery via FedEx. You may select this option during the checkout process for an additional fee that is calculated by location.

Our automated ordering system will keep you up to date on the status of your order.
If you register for an account on our site before you place your order, you will be able to login at any time to see your order status and your order history.
If you choose to check out as a guest (without creating account), you will still receive automatic updates when your order status changes- this means you will receive an email from us when your order is placed, and again when it leaves our studio.

Every Paloma’s Nest piece is designed to be cherished, and every detail is lovingly addressed. Each item that leaves our studio is hand wrapped in our own special way, ready to give as a gift, or to pack away as an heirloom when the time comes. (Any exceptions to gift wrapping will be noted on the item description page.)
You do have a choice for most items, at the time of your order, of either Our Signature Packaging (included with every order), or Our Heirloom Packaging™ (available as an upgrade). Please visit Our Packaging page to see what we mean!
We can add a gift note to any order for you, if you wish. We can also ship a gift directly to the recipient. Just leave us the message in the “gift wrapping options” during the checkout process, and add/select multiple shipping addresses for your order. Note that if you do not leave us a message indicating your shipment is a gift, your recipient may not be aware of who the package is from.
Every Paloma’s Nest piece is handmade here in our studio, which is run by a small group of passionate, talented folks. We have recently expanded our company to include our first brick & mortar boutiques so that our clients can view our collection up close and in person, and can order custom heirloom pieces in a specially prepared shopping environment. Paloma’s Nest may be coming to a city or town near you!

Yes! Paloma’s Nest does offer quantity discounts, normally beginning on orders of 10 pieces or more. We love to provide favors and decor for special events, spaces. and occasions. Please contact us if you are interested in a large order, and we would be happy to discuss a price quote with you and arrange the details.
The majority of our ceramics are designed for decorative use only, meaning they are perfect for jewelry, treasures, change, keys, love notes, etc.
Please don’t use these pure white pieces as ashtrays or tea bag holders, as these items will stain the pretty surface.
Certain items in our table top and dinnerware collections are intended for functional use with food or drink. These items are clearly marked in their item description as being so.
We always refer to the saying “hand made= hand wash!”
To preserve the pure white surface of your item, we recommend rinsing your piece in warm soapy water and allowing it to air dry. Avoid rubbing or smearing dust or debris into the surface- instead try to rinse or soak it away. Remove any decorative ribbon or cord prior to wetting.
For our dinnerware items, designed to be used with food or drink, hand wash with dish soap. To prolong the life of these items, it is not recommended to use them in the microwave or oven.

Paloma’s Nest has been greatly praised by the top wedding and lifestyle publications in the industry for inventing the Ring Bearer Bowl™ concept, ever since its introduction into the market. Couples around the world are choosing a custom Paloma’s Nest Ring Bearer Bowl™ to include in their wedding ceremony, knowing that the quality heirloom piece will become a treasure in their family.
Our pieces are hand made from the finest ceramic clays available and fired in our kiln to temperatures well over 2000˚ F, and finished with a “secret recipe” surface treatment. We use centuries-old traditional techniques so that your piece will remain strong and beautiful for many generations to come.
If you are concerned about your Ring Bearer dropping the Bowl while walking down the aisle, no worries. In over three years of crafting this design, we have never (knock on wood) heard of a bowl being broken during a ceremony by the Ring Bearer. (Though, to be honest, we do hear stories of DJ’s, groomsmen, and others being a bit careless with them during the reception...so be sure someone puts it away after the ceremony so it arrives home with you safely!)
Most Ring Bearers take their job very seriously, and children know to be careful with breakables such as plates and bowls. A silly fluffy pillow is much more fun to throw, anyways, isn’t it?!
If you are having a small wedding, commitment ceremony or ring exchange (or just simply don’t have a Ring Bearer!), no worries! Our Ring Bearer Bowl™ is frequently carried by bridesmaids or groomsmen. The Best Man can even fit the piece in his pocket until asked for the rings, or the Bowl can be held by the officiant or set at the altar during the ceremony. Many couples also choose to use their Ring Bearer Bowl™ as part of a ring warming or ring blessing ceremony, during which the Bowl and rings are passed around the guests who say a small prayer for the couple before the vows are exchanged.
The most special part of this design is that it can be displayed in your home- hanging on a wall, or on a holiday tree, for years to come. Knowing that this heirloom was a part of your ceremony makes it even more meaningful.
Most every Paloma’s Nest piece is available with a custom text- be it a special word or phrase, a name, or date that you would like to have stamped on the piece.
Items that are available with custom texts will have an area in the item description/ordering page for you to enter your request before proceeding with your order checkout. The item description page will also tell you important details about text length, layouts, and crafting times. Note that most custom pieces do take three weeks to be crafted for you before shipping.

Our non-custom designs (items that are in stock at the time of your order, ready to ship within 5 business days or less) are eligible for a shipping upgrade to FedEx Express delivery. You may select this option during the checkout process for an additional fee.

Please note that shipping times DO NOT include the in-studio Crafting Time required for your order to be created. The Crafting Time for your item can be found in the item description page of each design.
WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL USA:
Orders within the US with Standard Shipping are sent via FedEx Saver or US Priority Mail at our discretion. This method takes an average of 3-5 days to arrive. We have found this to be the most reliable and the safest way to transport your package. FedEx will deliver to both residential/home and commercial/business addresses. We do not require a signature for packages sent with either of these services.
Orders within the US with Express Shipping are sent via FedEx Standard Overnight delivery. This method generally delivers your package overnight, by the evening of the following day. Note this may vary for rural locations. Some addresses may have a 2 day delivery time. As with Standard Shipping, FedEx will deliver to both residential/home and commercial/business addresses. We do not require a signature for packages sent with this service unless requested to do so by you at the time of your order.
P.O. BOXES, ALASKA AND HAWAII:
Orders to PO Boxes, Alaska, and Hawaii with Standard Shipping are sent via Priority Mail with the US Postal Service. This method takes up to 5 days to arrive. Delivery Confirmation is included, but note that this is not a continuously updated tracking system.
Orders to PO Boxes, Alaska, and Hawaii with Express Shipping are sent via Express Mail with the US Postal Service. This method takes about 2 days to arrive. Delivery Confirmation is included.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY:
Orders to international addresses with Standard Shipping are sent via Priority Mail International with the US Postal Service. This service is NOT TRACKABLE, and NOT guaranteed for a specific delivery date due to unavoidable delays in customs or within your local postal service. Average transit time to most countries is 2-3 weeks; however many locations, including Asia, India, and the Middle East can take 4-6 weeks to arrive. There is no insurance on this method, and we do not refund for lost/unclaimed/undeliverable packages.
If you are waiting to receive an order shipped via Priority Mail International with the US Postal Service and 3 weeks time has passed since you received your email notification of shipment: we strongly suggest that you check with your local post office to see if they are holding the parcel there for you for pick up and/or a signature.
Orders to international addresses with Express Shipping are sent via FedEx Global. This service is trackable and insured. By default, we will select the service with an estimated one week delivery time for your package. (Again, due to possible delays in customs, this may vary slightly). If you need your item by an even earlier date, please contact us at the time of your order for pricing for even faster shipment. We reserve the right to charge you for additional FedEx shipping charges on international shipments if you decide you need your order earlier than one week from the date of shipment.
Paloma's Nest is not responsible for any duty/taxes charges you may incur at the time of receipt of your order. PACKAGES MAY BE DELAYED IN CUSTOMS AT THE BORDER, or because of delays in the local postal service in your country. THESE DELAYS ARE BEYOND OUR CONTROL and your order will not be refunded if it does not arrive on time due to customs or local delays.

All orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding Holidays.
We are happy to send items as gifts; be sure to specify the correct shipping address during checkout, and add a gift note if you'd like, so that the recipient knows who sent the gift.
Shipping costs are dependent on the items in your order and the shipping method you select. Your total shipping charges will automatically compute during checkout prior to the completion of your order. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

IN-STOCK DESIGNS
Whenever Express Shipping is selected, we will give priority to processing your order in the studio so that it leaves as soon as possible. Please contact us if there is a specific date you need to receive your order by, so that we can try to accommodate your request.
Payments can be made via our secure website using any major credit or debit card including VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover. We do not accept cash, checks, or money orders.
Paloma’s Nest will not share any of your personal information, nor do we gather any information about you when you visit this website unless you choose to provide the information to us. The website protects your online order information by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL encrypts your order information to ensure it remains private and secure.
Sales tax will be added to invoices for Texas residents at the rate of 8.25% on item and shipping totals. Any gift order shipped to Texas address will also be charged 8.25% sales tax. Yes, y’all.
International customers are responsible for any/all import/customs fees that may be incurred.
We do guarantee your satisfaction, and customer service and quality are our top priorities. If for any reason your purchase does not meet your expectations, please let us know right away so we can make it right!
Please note that every item is handcrafted, one at a time, in our studio by real hands. Real artisans. There will inevitably be variations in text layout, spacing, and arrangement of letters. There are no machines or computers used in creating your Paloma’s Nest item. Please do not expect, for example, your item to be perfectly round in shape, or for the stamping to be as straight as a ruler. We consider this to be the charm of the handcrafted piece. We hold ourselves to very high levels of craftsmanship, and every item that leaves our studio is quality-checked several times. We do not ship any product that does not meet or exceed our standards.
Custom pieces (any item created with personalized text, or special orders of any kind) are Final Sale. An exception to this is an error made on our part that deviates from your original order (such as incorrect spelling of a name or date).
Returns/exchanges are accepted on standard text/in stock items ONLY.
Please notify us via email within 2 days of receiving your order and we will make arrangements with you to make you a happy customer. That is our priority.
Shipping charges are NOT REFUNDABLE.
Items must be in unused perfect condition, in all original gift packaging. Items received in a condition that can not be resold, or without a Return Authorization, will NOT be refunded, and will be mailed back at customers expense.
Please carefully package the item back in its original packaging and shipping box/envelope, and include your order number, billing name, address, and email address in the package.
All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We recommend that you use a trackable service such as USPS Priority Mail, UPS or FedEX, and insure all shipments.
{If you have previously registered for an account on our website at the time of placing your order, you can easily access a Return Authorization Request form by logging in and viewing your order history.}
We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with this policy.
You can expect a refund for the item cost to your credit card within 30 days of us receiving your returned product.
We are always glad to answer your emails promptly and continually throughout the day. Email is the best way to contact us; due to the small size of our staff and studio, we have made a conscious decision to not offer customer service over the phone at this time so that we can offer you the best service and quality in other areas. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. You can always reach us via email at the addresses below, with any questions or concerns.
A real loving and caring human being will be there reading your message, and WILL reply to you promptly. That means definitely Monday- Friday during normal business hours, but also in the evenings and on weekends whenever we can manage it.
